Applications are open to organizations based in Germany or abroad, regardless of nationality or legal form. The prerequisite is recognized non-profit status and a clear, comprehensible project structure.

The project should be specifically aimed at children or young people whose lives are demonstrably made more difficult by illness, poverty, social isolation, or other stresses.

Multi-year projects can initially be funded as three-year pilot projects. Continuation is possible if the evaluation is positive. Long-term funding is not possible.
